We got about 15 minutes of rain on Thursday, which was quite the event. The kids were out there with their umbrellas from the first drop to the last.

My grandfather used to tell a joke from west Texas....
Tourist: It seems quite dry out here. How much rain y'all get on average?
Local: Sir, we get about 8 inches per year.
Tourist: Is that all?
Local: Yup, but you should be here the day we get it!
I can also give you another Murphy's Law.... I bet you I know where the slowest moving hurricane of 2011 makes landfall.
I remember a few years back, Lake Lanier, near Atlanta was going dry. It's not in the news anymore due to tropical seasons. Lake LBJ, I think, was running really dry a few years before that.
Mother Nature.....eventually....fixes all. You just have to be there the day they get it.
