I think my Tromboncino is confused
In the background you see a normal female blossom. Then there's this "thing." The stem is like a male blossom, but then it has this strange growth/fruit coming off it. It'll be interesting to see what becomes of it now that the flower opened!

That's funny! My tromboncino were looking good, and now suddenly both of the squash have begun to yellow/brown on the ends. It's moving up each squash like they are rotting or something.

Sounds like either blossom end rot, or they didn't get pollinated.

If the blossom did not get pollinated, the squash will shrivel and brown from the blossom end, starting shortly after the flower closes and falls off.a0628h0427 wrote:That's funny!
