Tomato bugs. Help
Four of my five tomato plants are doing so good! I've been faithful to pull the suckers off the plants, but tonight I looked under the leaves of the plants and they are covered with little tiny red bugs! Oh My Gosh! I about freaked out. I sprayed them with soap insecticide. Will that work? I hope I didn't kill my plants. Advice PLEASE!

They are probably red mites and yes, the soap insecticide will work. Keep an eye on them and repeat your soap! Spray in the later day, when it's not sunny. Do spray them in a week or if it rains and there after.

Oh, thanks so much. I sprayed them really good. We're headed out of town next Saturday for a week......I may spray everything before we leave in hopes the bugs don't eat everything up before we get back!

To tell the truth, all plants want to live. Your helping them to be what they want to be, but that is their nature. Don't worry too much. Provide warmth, water as necessry plus love and your going to get some thing good in return. The old hippy speaking now, lol.
