Greetings from chilly Walden, VT
Hello everyone,
It has been snowing on and off this morning! Not "great for gardening" weather, but I have hope. I'm not an experienced gardener, so there will no doubt be many questions and I am looking forward to learning a lot from you all. May thanks in advance! Melanie

to the SFG Forum! Ah, I love the Northeast Kingdom! Have you had a chance to pick up the All New Square foot gardening book yet? So many questions are answered in the book! Also, the search feature is very handy!! Absolutely ask your questions if you cannot find the answers here, we may be able to help you! Living where you do you should have no problem at all in finding the suggested 5 different kinds of composts.
I am so happy you could join us!!! and if you have any photos of your garden, please post them!!

We are really glad you joined us. This is a great group of people who enjoy growing veggies.
Since this is your first SFG, get ready for an adventure. A fun one.
As camprn said, first things first, read the ALL NEW SQUARE FOOT GARDENING book. I refer to mine all the time.
Please keep us posted as you progress, and ask questions when you have them.

Awesome weather, huh? Welcome aboard. Don't worry about asking questions. That's why most of us are here....we like to help out.
Jump over to your regional forum when you get the chance. You should find several others living with the same climate. Some will have lots of experience, too. They can keep you encouraged while you still battle the snow and last gasps of winter.
Hope to see more of you around.
