An other Yorktown gardener
I met an other squarefoot gardener yesterday! He is an across the street neighbor one street over. I would love to claim that his interest in gardening the easy way is from me. But that would be lying. He has a nice matching garden with critter cages and trellises. He even follows directions, so you know I did not teach him to garden. Ward next time your are in our neck of the woods, we can visit his garden.
In gardening news from my crayon box garden I have gotten several lovely salads. This years experimental pea was a snap pea. Those are the ones you eat the whole pod. I picked a yellow pod variety. They taste great and look very different from regular peas, so they are easy to harvest. I will definitely grow them again. Happy Gardening.
