Planting
Whew! What a day. Found out I am going into surgery tuesday to remove a lump from my arm, will limit my mobility for awhile (no lifting and pulling). So we were busy today mixing our Mel's Mix and getting the planters ready. We bought a few plants today and actually planted a few and will plant a couple more tomorrow. Mixing is hard work. We will have barely enough once I put the potatoes in. But I feel so productive. I am so happy with the way the mix looks. Hopefully the neighbors cat does NOT like the way it looks and will keep out. Now that the heavy work is done it should be no problem to plant, even with my arm. Good day....sore now...time to rest. Happy!!!

Yeah, good tired, right? I couldn't agree more that the mixing is hard work! I chose to do it on a day my husband was out of town, and I won't make that mistake again.
Good luck with your surgery!!!

Re: Planting
The hard work is done whew. At least the seeds are light enough for you to keep on gardening!
Hope your arm gets better quickly!

Don't you just love that kind of tired! The satisfaction of completing that part of the project and the anticipation of the planting and the harvest that will come. Way to go.
Hope the surgery and the recuperation goes well.

Re: Planting
Tired again!! Planted more plants and some seed. Need to plant rest of this round of seed tomorrow. Mixed up spinach and radish seed, planted it in too small an area....have abandoned that area for now....will fix it later. Moved boxes around as they were not going to get enough sun. gorgeous day today!!

Re: Planting
Hi,
It went just fine. It only really hurt when the freezing wore off. I have a huge bruise from my arm pit to my elbow. It's healing nicely. I am being very gentle as they had to cut and stitch the muscle I don't want to mess it up.
Thanks for asking, Kari
