best varieties for our FABULOUS weather?
Hi all--I'm wondering if anyone has suggestions as to which varieties of things do better or worse here? Given our lovely summer weather, when all the water is in the air and none in the ground, surely some things grow better than others. Yes? I'm kind of new to edible gardening, you see...for many years I gardened exclusively for aesthetics!!

Not sure if this will help or not, but I am trying to help others in this region, break it down a bit to more local help.

He is nicknamed the Georga Gardener. On the right is a planting calendar, click on it for what to plant when. I read and listen to Neil Sperry, the expert on TX gardening when I can. I hope this helps and that others sound off soon.
