It's hard to tell from the picture but are the holes going to be big enough to stick your hand in to reach the tomatoes?

The gentleman selling them said the opening are 1x8 at the very bottom and gradiate to 4x8 at the top. What do you think? Would they work mostly for cherry type toms vs. large ones you think? I have pretty small hands.
