Harvesting Cabbage & Broccoli Leaves?
I read that Cabbage and Broccoli leaves are great to cook. Basically, treat them like Kale or Collards. What I haven't been able to find is how to harvest. I don't want to bother the head growth. Right now I've just got leaves. Is it okay to just clip away when I want some leaves? Do I only take leaves off of the bottom? Any advice would be appreciated!!!

Re: Harvesting Cabbage & Broccoli Leaves?
Last year about August, I harvested all my broccoli heads, and took the leaves as well. I added them in with mustard greens, and collard greens. I slow cooked them with ham hocks and onions. I then froze several containers. They turned out very good. Just finished the last one out of the freezer a week or so ago.
