Does anyone recognize this seedling?
Hi all,
last fall I mixed up my box with some new compost, so that by spring, it would be ready to plant. The compost was 'my own, and my composter is not so big that all seeds will get killed in the process. Now every once in a while, seedlings pop up in my box. This one look familiar, but I don't know what it is, can you help me with this one? Do I toss it, or can it grow into something usefull and should I relocate it?

I agree with you -- it looks like *something* that should be there, but I don't know what it is, either.
Do you have room to just let it grow until it reveals itself?

It's too young, I cannot tell. Can you post another photo in a few days?

I love "guess the plant" games. It gets easier once there are a few more leaves.....

I also have mystery seedling. It came up in one of my starter pots, and I am pretty sure it isn't a tomato, pepper or eggplant, like the others. Right now I'm thinking it's a flower of some kind, but I'll have to wait for it to get bigger.
Can you you pot it in a yogurt cup or something and let it grow till you know?

I think I'll let it in for a while, the cauliflower I want to put in that square can stay in it's pot a little longer
.
It just looks so familiar, I can't stand that I don't know what it is!
