Are Different Manures considered different compost
Hi all,
I have been able to find Mushroom Compost, and Moo-nure for my compost mix. I have also seen chicken manure and horse manure. Would this be considered different types of compost for Mel's Mix?

Re: Are Different Manures considered different compost
Hey there bobgbob
So far, you have found 4 types of compost.
We consider each animal's composted manure as a different type of compost. The source of nutrients (food) is different for each animal.
We currently have a thread going on about what types of compost we are using or finding to make our blend of 5 or more composts. It lists various types of compost, some regional, some available in many areas.
Because this list has input from several people, you might want to check it out.
