Post  darrenhanineswv 3/6/2011, 4:01 pm

I just moved here from West Virginia where I was the biggest fresh market produce grower in the Northern panhandle of WV and sold at 2 farmers markets each week. I Rent an apt. here and don't have a garden but would like to find out where i can join a community garden in the Manassas Va. area to grow my own garden. I don't do well with the internet ( just not my thing)but can access my email. Can anyone tell me where I can find out this info and email me. darrenhaineswv at yahoo dot com. Thanks so much.

theres an endless list of places to find one, start by checkin with the county extention agent in your area, check all the garden shops and nurceries <<<< spelling/ maybe they know of one. check with any garden clubs in the area, i'm sure theres lots of others on here with plenty of other suggesstions too

check with natural foods stores, too -- they usually have an idea where co-ops and community gardens can be found.
