SFG Creed?
"Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night stays these square foot gardeners from the swift clean up and preparation of their appointed raised boxes for spring planting"...
Yes, I only replaced three words above. And I approve this message.
I am saying this because I can only do my gardening on weekends. And the forecast is rain. Rain until Monday, and droppage of temperatures at night. And this is supposedly the week when I can start planting some stuff outside. And I am totally pissed with this situation. Never you mind. I still managed to hop outside for 1 hr between big and bigger downpour, to screen my compost, mix it with vermiculite and coconut bark shavings, and some leftover potting soil from various orphaned pots, and I cleared up my beds, and spread compost mix on top of one of them. Just as I was getting super wet in my new NBA All-star T-shirt (hard-earned during Allstar coverage this year), all covered in wet compost smears and smudges. So tell me if this creed doesn't totally apply to SFG'ers?

Re: SFG Creed?
It certainly does. This is my first year with SFGs and I can tell you that I refuse to let a little thing like rain stop me either. Working on cutting my bed frames this weekend, picked up my manure today, and tried to convince hubby that after a preliminary run through with the tiller I WILL NOT be tilling the manure into the entire bed. I had told him we were making frames, but I guess he didn't get it. He thought I was planning on hand digging a full row garden. FINALLY got it! LOL

Re: SFG Creed?
Welcome to the wonderful obsessive world of SFG. I think SFG has taught me in a year every skill I need to get ahead at all costs

Re: SFG Creed?
Hmmm.... I like the creed, but would substitute the word "annointed" for "appointed."
Annointed with Mel's Mix, of course!
