any help on tomato and pepper problem

I have about 12 tomato plants growing... cherry, grape, roma, vine ripe from grocery store tomato seeds . I also have about 10 california wonder pepper plants. Most of the plants are doing ok but I have a problem with one of my tomato plants and one of my pepper plants. I hope the pictures can help. If anyone has an idea , I would appreciate it . I am in South florida, zone 10. Thanks

The tomatoes could be from inconsistent watering, a big temperature fluctuation, or a lack of nutrients (potassium and calcium are two possible deficiencies). The easy fixes are water more consistently and find some fertilizer that has a boost of the two things above.

The peppers could be part of the same issue. It looks (to me) more like it's been burned or has blossom end rot of some sort. If it's blossom end rot, you have a lack of calcium for sure. Until you get both problems fixed, steer clear of using to much nitrogen.

are a few links to information and photos that may help you diagnose the actual problem. Until you have a good diagnosis treatment is futile. You may want to remove the effected fruit and foliage until you can determine the problem, in case it's a bacterial or viral issue.
are there any symptoms of the foliage?

FWIW, I don't think it's your watering ...as that generally causes the splitting at the stem on larger fruit (mediums and slicers) and a complete split/burst on the smaller fruit (Cherry, currant and spoon).

Also doesn't look like BER to me (BER in zone 8/9/10 is generally "textbook" .... big, nasty, fast spreading, deep penetrating, black/dark spot(s) ....

Looks like the start of late blight from the pics of the fruit.

Are the leaves on either of the plants show any signs (or did they early)?

... the pic is a little blurry, but I can see some leaf damage/discoloration in the background of the pics.
