Texas Weather Empty Texas Weather

Post  timwardell 3/19/2010, 9:41 am

Gotta' love Texas weather... It's sunny in Dallas/Ft. Worth today and the high is expected to be 74. Tomorrow (the official first day of spring) we have a chance of snow and over-night temps in the freezing range for 3 nights in a row. <sigh> I'm soooooo done with winter weather. 😢

I think that weather change is supposed to hit here just across the border in a few hours. Glad all I have out is my cold temp veggies so far.

I know....this Texas weather will drive you crazy! It looks like we will only be in the low 40's for the next couple of nights here in the south. Tim... I love your blog. Can't wait to see how beautiful your boxes will be this year!

Thanks for the compliments. Glad someone is reading it. Wink ...though I'd probably write it regardless. ... Just covered the plants. They say the front will start to hit tonight and temps will fall like a rock. The lettuce, spinach, potatoes, onions, and strawberries (all sprouting) *should* be able to take the cold, but why chance it when it only takes a few minutes to put the 6 mil plastic over it.
