Spring is Here
After a killer winter (yes, I am being facetious ) of a fair amount of rain and a few frosts it looks like Spring has arrived. How do I know?
The strawberries are starting to come in:
And the roses are going crazy:
And the rest of the garden:
Broccoli - waiting for enough for one meal
Cabbage - something is sharing it with me, but the damage isn't too bad.
The main bed right now
Gorgeous garlic
Lovely Romaine
Slow growing celery
Sugar snaps - so far I have gotten one - but they sure look nice
Old fashioned peas - have had a few meals from these

How did I miss this?
How did I miss this thread until now? These are the photos I've been looking for!
Thank you, Chopper, for giving us hope that Spring springs eternal. (Or something like that.)

Oh, man! Strawberries already!
:GREEN:
My strawberry plants won't go in until next week, then I wait . . . . . . .
Oh, well, next year will be a great year for strawberries!
My broccoli is doing well, though! Along with a few others, but I certainly couldn't live off my garden right now.

Awesome that you have such a growing season over there. I don't know what I'd do if my winter was from Thanksgiving to New Year's...lol.
Now, for a more serious question.....how many squares does my money tree require in my sfg? I am hoping the fertile soil produces a bumper crop this year.

BBG If you are talking about Money Plant, (Money Tree) also known as Silver Dollar Plant,
final spacing should be about 1 per square foor, as the sowing directions say thin to 12 - 15 inches apart.

Oh, no, I was being completely sarcastic. I was talking about that fictional money tree that supposedly drops it's blooms every time a kid asks his parents for something. Well, that's how it worked in our house.
I hear, if you find one, it's as big as an oak. And, I also hear it blooms year round with monthly bursts right around the time your bills are due. If anyone ever sees one, please take a picture and make sure I get some seeds. I'm sure it grows well in MM.

Ya got me
When you find one, make sure you save enough seeds for the rest of us.

Chopper,
I am speechless! I love your garden. I am soooooo jealous.
We just got another 8" of snow here in Central Jersey yesterday so it will be awhile for spring to arrive....
