Tomato Varieties for Eastern Canada? Empty Tomato Varieties for Eastern Canada?

Post  SassyScraps 3/18/2010, 8:21 pm

I live in New Brunswick and want to plant some tomatoes. I did not have good luck at all last year so I am looking for some advice. I know that I need to have them North facing and that it is best to use netting. Can anyone suggest some varieties? Thanks.

hello sassy and welcome to the forums your pretty far north bu ttomatoes will grow anywhere in the seed exchange forum there is a thread about heirloom seeds with alot of difrent companies websites posted im sure if you browse through the diffrent sites and contact the companies they can stear you in the direction you need for your region and climate. it will be a little bit of work but if your a tomatoe lover like i am its all worth the effort in the end.
