hi,
we have a severe winter in Belgium and the rest of western Europe right now.
This is exceptional, it hasn't been so for as long as I can remember, but it is nice for taking pictures, so here's one from my garden (it's a panorama)
Enjoy.

Hi Tony,

That is a great photo, thank you for sharing! Hope you stay safe in all the crazy weather, and make a snowman or two. Smile

We just missed getting hit by the snowstorm that is currently piling LOTS of snow over the U.S. eastern seaboard. I'm a little disappointed. While I have to make a long drive later today, I was hoping for at least some snow to help insulate my garlic and onions out in the garden. I've found the plants that can overwinter, do better with some snow cover on top of the mulch.

What a beautiful garden! Yes to benches and awnings and low profile stone walls. Is that a vineyard in the background?

hi Camprn,
thanks, it's difficult to see on the picture, but these are not low profile walls, but buxus hedges, and in the background that is some kind of a modern version of an orchard, with apple trees in the outer square and pears in the inner square.

The panorama is lovely but Oh! If you could post photos of those areas I would love to see!

hi camprn,

when the weather gets better, I'll definitely make some nice pictures. But for now I post a sketchup picture from the garden design I made. You can see the inner and outer squares for the fruit trees and the position for the greenhouse, but this is a virtual reality for now, I still have to save for this. Smile

I like the tree pruning too! I like it a lot. Some of my trees could benefit from similar action.
