I had the fortune to come upon several hundred(about 400 or so) pavers that I could use in my garden this past summer. So, I took them for free (is there any better deal?) and piled them into my backyard next to the garden. This past weekend was picture perfect for the outdoors so I split time between house chores and the paver project. I can't wait to get it all laid down but that will take time given the rush to complete the outdoor chores before winter hits. Afterall, you have to keep the wife happy!
Hopefully, it will get done before the snow flies but if not, there is always Spring! Is anyone else doing any major renovations in their gardens this year?

Yep .... entire yard (or pretty close to it) was a renovation ...

Seven neglected garden beds demolished (8-year old rotting lumber) over the last 8 weeks.

Replaced all the beds (excavated, tilled, leveled, weedblocked, irrigation installed, electrical run, mulched & re-framed with hacienda wall. I also took the opportunity to repair, re-seal and re-paint all my pots/containers that we've accumulated over the years.

For once, all my beds/gardens/containers match and are in good repair & I finished up the last of the plant selection/planting on Sunday.

Somehow in all of this I found the time to get my first SFG box going (2 weeks ago).

Hopefully the only "work" going forward will be the SFG .... and thats been "fun-work" so far.

Yep,
I'm supposed to be out there right now pulling weeds so DH and I can pick a spot to set up our 2 SFG beds and get fall/winter stuff planted and pavers that we already have laid between the beds as a walkway when he gets home from work.

I just can't get up the energy right now. Hopefully, in an hour or so when I finish the laundry.
