What's My Problem??

What's My Problem??
I've been surfing and I can't make up my mind what the problem is. I know I have some stinkbugs. I've been relentlessly smushing the little buggars, and I don't think I've got a really big problem with them..a little whitespot I can live with. But these blighted areas are really bummers. None of them are on the blossom end. They don't extend too far into the tomato, so at least a portion of the tomato is useable,( and quite tasty I might add). This is occuring with several different varieties at the same time.
Any ideas??

Thanks Camprn.. I think you are right. Not sure what to do now. I hadn't thought of this before, but if this fungus can live in the dirt, does that mean I have to dump out all that lovely EXPENSIVE Mel's Mix ?? DH is not going to be happy. I talked him into building my beds specifically to provide him with fresh tomatos

Re: What's My Problem??
I have never had to battle this fungus but it seems that various cultivation measures and fungicides will help. Choose disease free seed or plants. Keep foliage dry (avoid overhead watering), water at the base of the plant, this helps reduce splash that will spread the spores. Space the plants to avoid close foliage , you can also prune to promote better air circulation between the plants. Remove, but do not compost infected foliage & fruit. Rotate your crop. there are some organic fungus control products available. Lots of info on the net.

Re: What's My Problem??
Thanks Camprn.. I think I planted too closely. I have a soaker hose watering system and I pruned off the lower leaves early on, but we have had periods of VERY heavy rains this summer and I'm sure that contributed. I'll go tomorrow and get the liquid copper, it says that can be used up to day of harvest. I was really hoping I could do this without any chemicals but I sure don't want to lose all the tomatoes! Thanks for your help !
