Hi all.

We just started our first square foot garden on Fathers Day weekend (yes, I know we're very late, but better late than never). We have a single 4x4 and planted 14 of the squares with a combination of started plants and seeds. Already we have visible growth in every seeded square! Wonderful! My kids had plants that they had started in school or scouts, and these were definitely root-bound in their containers. We moved them to the SFG and they are already looking healthier.

We have many questions that we hope to get answered by reading these forums and asking questions if we can't find the answers already, but we are so very happy with our initial experience.

Welcome to the Forum. I'm sure you'll find many answers to your questions here. Having a SFG is super wonderful. Even a late start is better than none.
Have fun and enjoy the fruits of your labor.
