Re: SqFtGardening on a deck?
One of the perks of country livin' is that I don't have to worry about how things look
I really, really wanted to buy some of the vertical planters that Lowe's had for sale, but I haven't done it so far

Re: SqFtGardening on a deck?
Could you post a picture, and suggest where I find one?

Here's the website: http://www.amaplas.com/afp/Home/HOME_home.htm. I'm not sure where mine came from, but a big box store or nursery supply might be good places to start.
Here is another web page of a similar product; this page is a bit more visual. http://ourgardengang.tripod.com/containerbags.htm It talks about cutting the bags, whereas the bags I have are pre-cut and apparently available in various sizes.

Dear Miinva: I will doing my certification video soon, and plan to do other videos, which will be a more advanced version of SFG/ Vertical gardening. I'll be posting it when they are completed. My videos will be available for purchase through this forum, and also through Facebook.

David: As forum Moderator I must point out that the selling of products through the Square Foot Gardening Forum is not allowed. If you wish to sell items/videos with or under the name of Square Foot Gardening you must have permission from the Square Foot Gardening Foundation.
God Bless, Ward.

Re: SqFtGardening on a deck?
Thanks for you excitement about wanting to make some SFG videos for sale. That is a great idea. Ward is correct however. Everyone, please remember that Square Foot Gardening and the method are trademarked and protected brand names and cannot be used for profit without the approval of the foundation. It's like opening up your own Mcdonalds restauratn without the approval of Mcdonalds. We have very reasonable pricing programs for using the brand name for profit so contact us for information. Thanks all! Alan

Re: SqFtGardening on a deck?
Since that is true, then are there channels that I must pursue to gain that permission.

Contact SquareFoot (Alan) -- he's in charge of the Foundation and is the guy to ask.
