*sigh* I just knew as soon as I posted that, that you'd come along and tell me it's always been there. Whatever. I did see the pizza eating one - nice. Thanks for equating my love of pizza with being a pig. (I'm on my phone and can't do smilies or else I'd finish up with :badboffer:).boffer wrote:LOL, I put that one in a couple years ago!gwennifer wrote:Saw all the new emoticons this morning. Too fun. Partsgal, Is your well-built and lovely planted box sitting on a concrete patio?? If so, fantastic. Mel stated the boxes could be placed on top of a concrete patio but I don't think I have seen one except as table tops. Great going!

Re: This thread is for practicing posting
Thanks Sanderson. Yes it is on what used to be our kid's basketball court. We are too much fanatics about our lawn-couldn't put it there. Some of my things are not growing well and others are doing great. I have figured out from the forum that I probably have too much peat. I just got done checking my bags of compost and two of them had added peat, which I looked at them when I bought them not realizing it would be a problem. Thanks for the reply, this is my first time using the forum, although I have been reading it for awhile.

Re: This thread is for practicing posting
Are you trying to get photos to show up in the posts? Have you seen the thread, 'how to post a photo? After you upload the photo you have 3 choices of code to copy, pick the middle one, copy and then paste it into your post.

Re: This thread is for practicing posting

I finally figured it out and what a pain it is because I am using a Mac.
I used the Insert Image icon and then copied and pasted from the hosting site (Serving.com).

Re: This thread is for practicing posting
I used to have a mac, and it isn't really any more trouble than the PC. click the host image tab, click the upload photo button, pick the photo file from your computer, click upload then select the middle line of code. copy and paste that into the thread.

I can post a pic by using the *URL icon*, but when I click on the other icon *host an image* nothing happens.....
GWN mentioned that she has to click on the host an image icon and just wait a bit and the she is able to host an image.....I tried that method and let it sit for several min and still nothing.....
just a heads up

What browser are you using. I had no trouble in chrome or Firefox. (see previous page).Only IE wouldn't load a dialog box.
