Hi fellow Aussies!
Hello to all living down under,
I joined the forum yesterday and just found this Aussie section.
I live in QLD between Gladstone & Biloela which means it rains for 2 months of the year, and then nothing for 10 months.
I have 2 16 x 4 foot garden beds that I just started in the last 2 months or so. So far so good.
I am having trouble finding vermiculite. Bunnings is going to call me on Tuesday and tell me if they can get it in for me in the 100 litre bags.
You can get in on Ebay for about $28 plus $25 postage so I'll see who is cheaper.
Looking forward to seeing all your lovely gardens & picking your brains as I'm very new to SFG.
Have a great day.

Hi Fellow Aussie
Hi Aussie Girl
Welcome to SFG and the forum. I have found the forum great fun, informative and is great to see all the pictures of other gardens.
I hope you can upload some pictures of your garden son.
There is a reference for where to find vermiculite in Brisbane in another thread in the Aussie section. I don't know if you are able to access it from there.
Again welcome to the forum, please ask lots of questions as I know you will get some response from other sfg's.
Cheers from Ray the Down Under coordinator

Hi Aussie Girl
I forgot to say that I pay about $60 for my vermiculite so your price is not too bad. It is produced in Queensland so should be available.
Cheers Ray
