Hello from St Petersburg, FL zone 10
Hello everyone!
I am new to SFGing & just made my Mel's Mix & box yesterday. I started from seeds ahead of time with the following:
suger snap peas
beefsteak tomatoes
beets
carrots
parsley
cilantro
bell peppers
cucumbers
spearmint
Yesterday I planted the peas, cucumbers & beet sprouts. Tomarrow I will plant the spearmint, cilantro, parsley & bell pepper sprouts. I am still waiting for the tomatoes & carrots to sprout.
I am excited to see how well I do & look forward to learning a lot. My neighbors are gardening as well, so we have colaberated what we are planting, so we can trade our harvest!

Just out of curiousity, are your neigbors using SFGing? I would think in zone 10 you could grow year round so that will be fun. Beware - the cilantro should be planted every two weeks or so - it is the fastest thing to bolt but if you have some coming up all the time then it is there when you need it.
Enjoy! And keep us posted about your gardening "co-op"

At this time, I am the only one useing th SFG method, and I'm not doing so great right now. But I guess I have a learning curve to catch up with.

Hi Vanter - I just wanted to see if things had picked up for you in your new SFG?
I'm in Zone 10 also, just on the other side of the world and I'm new to SFGing, and vegi gardening alltogether.
I wonder if your learning curve has been as steep as mine?
Let us know if you have any questions.
