Can I use worm vermicast as one of the compost materials?
I am looking for five different sources for compost material. Can I use worm vermicast as one of the compost sources? It's sold in Hawaii for $3.00 a pound. I need 17 cubic feet of compost total or approx. 3.3 cubic feet from each source. Does anyone have any comments or experience with vermicast?

I used it as one of the 5 in my 2nd box. In Washington state it is crazy heavy (mine was labled "worm castings). It isn't quite as nice as homegrown compost with actual worms but is is making very nice onions, broccoli and lettuce.

Welcome Pia! I used vermicast as one of my 5 composts, and everything is growing beautifully.
