New Compost PIle, 2nd attempt
Since I am terrible at composting, based on the results of 1st attempt, attempt 2 is about to be underway.
Standing by ready for implementation, I have 3 bushels (about) of chopped leaves from last fall, 1 bushel of freshly mowed grass, most of a bag of alfalfa pellets, a bunch of shredded computer paper, and a near inexhaustible supply of fresh or aged manure. They are all begging to be put into my tumbler. My lawn vacuum and chipper did the honors for me on the leaves.
Last year, somebody, most likely either Sanderson or Ohio Gardener, sent me a list or a link to a list of greens and browns. As I recall it was a link that went to another site dedicated to composting, but at 73 I am not guaranteeing who what or where. I am not fussy, I will accept a list from anywhere. It also included proportions of how much of each thing.
If someone would be so kind as to respond with such a list, I would be very appreciative.

What's the difference in the leaves.you rake up under the green section, and the dead leaves in the brown section? Aren't leaves on the ground dead?
