How to Grow Vegetables From Seed
True Leaf Market seed company has an excellent on-line 76-page booklet (downloadable PDF file) titled, "Vegetable Growing Guide: Roots, Remedies & Routines for a Flavorful Life". This booklet does not address SFG, but it has a lot of useful information for all types of gardens. The last section of the booklet has descriptions & facts on many type of vegetables, including days to germination, days to harvest, spacing, size, etc., which is very helpful in planning the planting schedules.
This is their description of the booklet:
Starting your very own vegetable garden and seeing it through to harvest is one of the most rewarding activities that anyone can do. Here at True Leaf Market, we want to make the process of preparing your garden bed or containers and planting your seed as easy as possible! This booklet is intended on providing you with the know-how you need to feel confident in not only pursuing a garden but completing it.
You can download the booklet here:

Re: How to Grow Vegetables From Seed
I rarely like publications by commercial companies, but I can get behind this one. It did a decent job of explaining definitions such as GMO, hybrid, Heirloom, soil types, seed starting, etc. I did not read about the individual veggies.

Only 51 days before I set up the indoor growing station to start the first seeds of 2023.

A few more than that for use up here in the snow zone. We can't start seeds indoors until Mid-March, which is about 94 days away....
But, I did start some Romaine Lettuce in the AeroGarden today....
