Correcting improperly made Mell's Mix

First, the member is not alone. When I made my first Mel's Mix, I used a Kellogg's soil amendment instead of a blend of real composts. The plants stopped growing and the folks on this Forum helped me diagnose my mistake. It took about a year and a half to correct it. Embarassed

More information will be helpful. How full were the beds when first filled. How full are the beds now? How old is the original MM?
