New Guy - Neue Typ
Hi Everyone,
I am in Germany, with mixed Herritage born and raised in England mother German father Ukraine
I am mainly in Germany but also in Greece where we have a house. I was always interested in Garden (Veg) but because we didnt have any place with garden area it was theory, now we
moved and have good garden area. Last year did some Tomatoes went great so I decided to
do alot more veg this year, and it was then that I heard of SFG from Mel and I thought this
is it! so I did the basic course and then the instructor. I am not directly a prepper but very interested in self sufficiency and survival so this is idea, I am also involved in Humanitarian help
so maybe I can get to include SFG, have to see. I hear there are only a few CIs in Germany
so proud to be one. Greetings from Melle, (I hear there is a Melle in the US colonised from here)

Re: New Guy - Neue Typ
Antony, Welcome to the Forum from California. Congratulations on becoming a CI.
I imagine it will be a little different as to what resources you will be able to find. I have only followed the journey of a man in the Netherlands who then moved to Italy, and an Italian woman who's family was skeptical about growing in such shallow beds. Locating compost was a problem for both. Coarse, and now super coarse vermiculite are in short supply, at least for the next months.
