Is it right of me to be jealous....
... when my compost pile (per se) is growing better veggies than me? You should of seen it last year.. tomatoes, peppers, cantalope, onions... grrr.
This is what I've found so far, but I'm sure the tomatoes and other stuff is close behind.

One year I had a pumpkin growing in my lilac tree. I had used some compost around my trees and didn't notice the vine starting. From my second floor bedroom window I discovered a beautiful pumpkin. My boys were little at the time, and the lilac became known as the pumpkin tree.

Selandra, you might as well add a grid to your compost pile to make it an official SFG!

Now that might work, maybe I'll put a trellis in for the cantalope..
