Individual hole size for grid irrigation
I am creating an irrigation grid grid of 4x4, with 3 holes on each side directed into each square, forming 12 holes total per square.
What should the individual hole size be? Water pressure is around 40psi. Or better, is there a formula I can use for psi vs. number of holes, gives hole size?
I'm using 1/2" polyethylene drip tubing (those pipes you generally punch a hole into to connect an irrigation accessories) with barbed T's and X's to form a grid.
So this is similar to Garden Grid - just custom fit for my bed sizes.

Deonb, check out the Drip Planning Guide from Dripworks, it will answer most of your questions. If you have 40 psi or higher water, you will probably want to install a pressure regulator down to 20 or 30 psi to keep from blowing the emitters out of the lines.
