New to SFG in Michigan 6a
Hi!
I'm new to SFG, I have 2 beds that are 2'x16' that came with the house, and my husband just built me a corner bed that's 8x2 on one side and 6x2 on the other. Very excited for next spring. I'm going to try and start some indoors, but I'm not sure which seeds I should focus on inside. One bed is going to be asparagus and broccoli, the others will have tons of stuff! I love organizing and planning so I have it mostly planned, although I've been adjusting amounts and what is planted where as I read things. I'm also really excited to use this as a chance to really get my kids (4 & 1) helping me in the garden, I would love for them to take an interest and learn how to take care of themselves foodwise to some extent for their futures.

Welcome jessiepniles! That is a lot of food! I believe I’m your Regional Host, so pop over to N&C Midwest for some “local” talk and tips as well. Glad you found us.
Are your beds full of Mels Mix? Have you read the SFG book?
Take lots of notes; every year is different, and the first ones are truly a learning curve!

Welcome to the forums from SW Ohio, Jessie! Looks like you are going to be very busy next spring planning, planting, and caring for those beds.
