Welcome from Ohio, USA, Learner01! Glad to see you here! There is a wealth of information on these forums, and you won't find a more helpful bunch anywhere. Be sure to check out the Regional Forums, where you'll find members that share your climate and growing conditions. One that you may find interesting is the Europe Regional Forum.
Never plant without a bucket of compost at your side.

This is Kelejan from British Columbia

My husband was from Manchester and his youngest sister was married in Lytham St. Annes. Many years ago. I know what the area looks like as I have been up that way.
Have you made a start, and what progress have you made? Lots of gardeners only too willing to answer your questions.

What size are your beds? My own beds are 6ft x 3ft, because I am a small person and reaching into the middle of a four foot wide beds is a stretch for me. Do you have one of the Square Foot Gardening books to show you how to proceed?
Re: New member to SFG from Lytham St Annes UK
Learner, Welcome to the Forum from California, U.S. The best way to get started is to read ALL NEW Square Foot Gardening, either the 2nd or 3rd Edition. I believe both are available as eBooks was well as hard copies.
