Hardcore Sustainability - Urban Homesteading
Cynthia, is a gem! I call her the Queen of Organic Gardening, and she's hardcore when it comes to sustainability. She has a lot of wisdom to share in my latest episode:

Thanks Dstack,
Learned a few things from the interview. I had always heard that Breadfruit could only be grow in the farthest south & Keys and that it was too hot here for Comfry. She had both in her yard.

I'm glad you brought that up about the Comfrey Craig. How funny! I've heard that too, but I have it growing as well! I've had a couple of failed attempts to get it started in the ground, but I finally got it with the help of dappled light and mulch. Fortunately I had early success in the planter on top of one of my rain barrels, and I can now use that as it get's larger to propagate from by division.TCgardening wrote:Thanks Dstack,

Just this morning I filmed Cynthia, and her bee mentor, extracting honey from her hives. I hope to have that up on the channel in a couple of weeks, but yesterday I made the big announcement in form of this promo, that Cynthia and I have partnered up so that she has her own series. Even if she and I aren't on the same page on a couple of things, she has an abundance of knowledge and wisdom!

DStack,
Now I have no excuse for not growing Comfrey for my wife, Ann. It's really good to see your new endeavor growing! I will sign up for your site and recommend to my garden friends.
Best of luck!

After being furloughed during the pandemic (even before that, in 2018 I was cut to contract status by the company where I worked in television production for 17 years), a great company has just given me a great job offer, so I'll be going back to a full-time salary position, as the Creative Video and Design Specialist for the local board of Realtors.
But I will of course continue adding content when I can, and now Cynthia will be adding a lot of great content.
