Where to get red wigglers?
I must be getting old, because I have been reading many things on this forum about regular composting and Vermicomposting. And it is exciting. As a result, I got the bins I need to start vermicomposting yesterday. Last night I went to place my order for worms and suppliers were out of stock on red wigglers. I was hoping to get 2000 from uncle jim’s As the second thousand was only $10 more and I will break those up into two bins. Do any of you know a reputable supplier that has them in stock?
Thanks to all of you who post here. I have learned a great deal about square foot gardening and composting.

Hi PKelly251. Welcome from Atlanta, GA!
Sounds like you're going to have fun... :-)

Why Uncle Jim is OUT OF Red Wigglers?
I am a newbie to gardening, and this is my first post to the forum. Wednesday of last week I received 500 Red Wigglers from Uncle Jim’s Worm Farm and realized that I could use another 500. Went to order them and SHOCKER — NO WORMS.
No explanation on the website and no estimated date that they would become available.
I must have gotten the last bag. Any idea why? Just supply and demand or some disease issues that I should know about / be concerned about?

Welcome to the forums from Ohio, John! It is a supply and demand issue - part of the hoarding that has been going on with all gardening supplies. Try the link I provided in the earlier post for Buckeye Organics - they are one of our local suppliers, and the last I checked they still had redworms available for order.
