What is the best pop corn to grow in the hot south?
Luke Allen wrote:What is the best pop corn to grow in the hot south?
Back when we lived in south Georgia, we grew the Carousel Popcorn, and it did wonderful. It is a multi-colored popcorn, which is beautiful both while on the cob and after it is popped.
It got so hot down there, though, that sometimes the corn popped while still on the plant....
Never plant without a bucket of compost at your side.
Thanks for the reply. This my first year to grow pop corn so I had no clue what to
plant. Again thanks.
plant. Again thanks.
