Skunks Under the House HELP!!!!!

We have a partial basement and crawl space under the house. Skunks have found a way in (which I think we can seal off when they're gone). We never use this area, but the duct-work for our heat and a/c is down there. Not only are they fighting and spraying, but we're concerned about damage. Anybody know of any remedies that really work, but don't cost a fortune or smell worse than the skunks? Skunks Under the House HELP!!!!! 671790

I saw some Ultrasonic Animal Repellers that are motion detectors with flashing lights. The ones I found were solar, however, so that won't work. Think I'll check Home Depot.

That doesn't sound good, CN! Probably best to call your county animal control person and ask for advice on how to deal with them.

Try putting some speakers down there and play loud music. Also put bright lights down there. We got rid of racoons under out front porch by soaking tennis balls in ammonia and putting them under the porch.
