When to harvest Purple Lady Bok Choy?
The Purple Lady Bok Choy under tulle has been slowly coming along. But it's unclear when it's ready for harvest. The leaves are pointing outwards, not upwards like I would expect from bok choy. Or perhaps I can harvest a leaf at a time?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Re: When to harvest Purple Lady Bok Choy?
I never grew Bok Choi but grew Michihili Chinese Cabbage and harvested when the leaves were full size or close but I learned to grow things in 6 packs being a bucketeer but don't know if it was the way plants come or because it is the way I buy beer. So that when I harvested the larger outside leaves, I had enough for a side at a meal. It also works for Jalapenos when I wanted to make Jalapeno Poppers, I could get about 3 peppers per plant that were at the proper size. Who knew, life is better with the 6 pack rule.

Mark, an outside leaf or two per plant. Heaven forbid I tell a new gardener to wait until tomorrow. With your nice climate and latitude, they may bolt early, so enjoy now.
