Bok Choy and Sausage Soup for dinner this evening. First time for this recipe from BigOven, and it was delicious! We used regular Bok Choy instead of the recommended Baby Bok Choy, since that is what is growing in the greenhouse, but otherwise followed the recipe.

from the garden
This evening we finally finished the gallon of ham & turkey soup made on Boxing day and stored at 3 oC in the fridge , in it were chopped batons of SFG carrots , half a dozen SFG onions and two leaves of well chopped up SFG Dutch cabbage plus fine chopped celery , half of a small rutabaga chopped and two small fine chopped parsnips .
We've still got 20 or so pounds of carrots still in the ground , about 15 pounds on onions on strings plus a few rutabaga and some beet root in the veg beds .

Boxing Day soup sounds so good. Are you leaving the carrots in the ground or do you blanch and freeze some?
Re: What are you eating from your garden today?
Made Creamy Pesto Pasta with some basil pesto and some garlic scapes pesto—fabulous! I have leftovers, which is good!
