I've noticed what looks like some caterpillar damage on my collard greens, so I am spraying Bt on them.  I'm not sure if it will work because I can't get the spray to stay on the leaves.  Collard greens are very smooth, and whatever I spray on them just runs right off.  Has anybody else used Bt on collard greens?

The bacteria in the Bt spray is sticking to the leaves, but is not really visible. What is running off is the excess liquid. If you want to add a sticker to it, add a couple drops of non-antibacterial soap, such as Castile Liquid soap, to it before spraying.

Or, a couple drops of Dr. Bronner's liquid peppermint soap.

Thanks to both of you.  If I still continue to see holes in my collard leaves, I will try adding the soap!
