Dang, the Riley half of me missed this! Hope everyone had a good Day.
Did anyone have corned beef and cabbage? I asked my husband to get some at the grocery store but he said he didn't see any. I asked him if he asked an employee. Now, he's a man. What do you think his answer was?

Re: Happy St. Patrick's Day!
Yes, we had corned beef & cabbage and it was yummy.
Trivia: Corned beef & cabbage is not traditionally Irish. The early immigrants had to substitute for bacon because it was cheaper. Even the seasoning was adopted from other cultures. Corned beef & cabbage is a true example of our early "melting pot" days.

When I was young, sliced cold corned beef sandwiches on rye bread with Grey Poupon mustard for a couple of days..
