Re: Indoor Tomato Pics
Looks like all that time and money you spent are paying off (I am sure they will never pay off the expense but you sure seem to be having fun with your indoor garden).

Re: Indoor Tomato Pics
SQWIB, until I took up gardening as a serious hobby, I would only try to understand what I knew was not an economical way to grow your own food but now that I am swimming in the deep end, I can't think of a better way to comprehend some of the factors in growing anything, anywhere. Thank you, another citizen scientist I have found here at Sq. Ft. and if you could explain to OhioGardener how with your inspiration I spent some of my microscope money on LED grow lights, I would appreciate it. I can't go to Amazon even with a Prime membership anymore. The price on 400W wind turbines have fallen like a rock. I installed a solar panel system at a local community garden two summers ago to run the well. Great learning experience although I did dedicate too much time to get it up and running. Other projects and experiments suffered. I still would like to see what a wind turbine would do here as far as electrical generation. Microscope, then wind turbine, stay focused. As always thanks for taking the time to post pictures and sharing the latest news on your on-going projects.
Before I took up gardening as a serious hobby, I used to golf and fish. The money I spent on those two pursuits would have put The Crazy Half Acre on the research map. So if anyone is wondering, it was never about the money. It is about the sheer joy of having fun, can't put a price tag on it, can't eat it either but somehow it feeds the soul. That is what gardening and growing does for me, it feeds my soul. A better understanding of the universe at a primal level.
