Yikes! I was at the Edgar May recreation center on July 27, 2018 and I saw a flash flood, when looking northwest-ward from where the treadmills are, which is southeast of the building! I saw what looked like a stalled car with the hazard lights on!

The street on the front side, is Clinton St., which was where the flash flood occurred.
The street where the parking lot is on, is right near the Springfield FD and rescue facility.

Unlike the Bellows Falls PD, the Springfield PD isn't sharing the building with the FD, the PD's got its own building eastward from the FD, on Clinton St. .

Actually, just posting this for a correction: It's actually facing the southeast from the northwest position, looking southeast-ward. (or north-south-east-ward) (looking towards the southeast direction and east direction)
