Husband manually turned on the valve for the driplines for the veggies, and rolled and aired out the compost tumbler. So, every thing was still alive and producing.

This is the easiest group to herd! Good folks all around.

I just need a break from the smoke, heat and mosquitoes! Going crazy being housebound except for mad dashes outside for watering. geek

The coast is currently 50-70*F with some fog.

The get-away was great. Cool mist. We drove up to the Big Sur area as Highway 1 was repaired from the mega landslide. Had my favorite seafood dinner at Rosa's Italian in P)ismo - Tutto Mare! We are on the road for a week, Fresno to Reno Nevada last night to Elko Nevada tonight. Then into Idaho. Coverage is spotty but I will keep checking in when I can.
