Drafts?

Drafts?
This probably has an easy answer, but I could not find it.
I started a post, could not get my pics off my camera, so opted to put as a draft.
That was a while back. Then today I started a post, had a time getting the pics in the posts. Had to leave, so I hit draft. Using the draft button is a mistake! Now, the drafts are under profiles. There are 2 and I would like to know how to pick which one to work with or delete. I cannot click on anything on the drafts section of my profile. Help!

Re: Drafts?
For the draft you want to use, you should be able to click on the word "modify" in the Modify column. OR you can click on the check box in the X column and then go to the bottom and click on Delete Selected Drafts to delete the draft. If that does not work I suppose it is possible that your account did not get set up properly for Drafts. Let us know.littlejo wrote:This probably has an easy answer, but I could not find it.

Re: Drafts?
Thanks for trying to help! I went to profiles, drafts, and no modify button or word.
There is a select all button, and a delete selected drafts button, but nowhere to select which one.
Maybe my account was not set-up for drafts. I promise not to use the draft button again!

Re: Drafts?
Jo, Please look at the attached photo of part of my Drafts screen. On the right hand side there is a modify column and an X columns. Are those columns not showing up on your drafts screen?

Re: Drafts?
TrolleyDriver, tell me how to capture the screen and post, and I'll show ya. I don't have any columns, period.
I have a pic, no text from 1 draft, and the text from the other. Neither will let me select, so I could just delete?
At the top, which is all non-clickable, I do have the words, 2 drafts.

Re: Drafts?
Well, I'm going to try to do a screen shot, we'll see if it works out.

Re: Drafts?
Jo, how did you put the photo into your original post before you made it a draft? Based on the screen shot you may not be able to do it. Sanderson or I may be able to do it for you. I'm just wondering if that photo is causing the problem that is not allowing you to see the Modify and X columns.
I did a test. I used the forum's built-in photo storage to include a photo in my post and then mad the post a draft. Then when I went to the Drafts in my profile I could see the post in the drafts list but the photo did not show on that screen (in your case the photo is showing in the list). When I chose to Modify the same post it came up with the photo showing in it.
If possible delete your existing draft posts (sorry but you will lose them). Then create a new draft that does NOT include any photos. Go to your Profile/Drafts and see if the Modify and X columns show up.

Re: Drafts?
I just did another test and it looks like for sure the problem is the way the photo was embedded in the draft post. This time I used the "Insert Image" button to included the URL for a photo I have stored on Cloudinary. I saved the post as a draft. When I went to my Drafts List the post shows in the list and the photo is visible. However, the Modify and X columns are gone.

Re: Drafts?
I got the drafts deleted. I can now see the empty columns. I might try to re-post the pics, maybe not. Maybe I need to learn how to post pics, I just posted from my computer. Thanks for all the help.

You can host your photos right on the forum. When you create a post there are toolbars at the top for Bold, Italics, etc. One of the toolbars (the one that shows a Youtube icon) is where you need to look. Mouse over the icons in that group and find the one that says "Host an Image" when your mouse pointer is on it. Click on that icon and you will be able to upload the photo and put it into your post.
