Texas Super Sweet Onion Seeds
Does anyone have a small handful Texas super sweet onion seeds to share? I really don’t need a lot of them. 50 would probably be plenty. All of the reputable websites seem to be sold out.
I’m also looking for some good green onion seeds that would grow well in zone 9 as well as some carrots.
I opted not to buy new onion and corrot seeds when I made my big order since I had some on hand. I’m concerned that they aren’t very good as my germination rates are terrible. I bought all 3 of those seed packs from Home Depot in July of last year. They have been stored in the fridge but I’m thinking they mighthave been old when I bought them. This is my second attempt at germinating different sets and the rate is probably 25% at best.

Re: Texas Super Sweet Onion Seeds
Brian, I don't have any seeds for you, but I buy some common seeds at HD, in addition to ordering special ones from Baker. Home Depot also carries some short day red, yellow and white onion starts.

Yeah. I went today. They had some Texas Grano, so I got some of those. But those were the only short day they had in my store. They had 4 or 5 kinds, but those were the only short day.sanderson wrote:Brian, I don't have any seeds for you, but I buy some common seeds at HD, in addition to ordering special ones from Baker.
