Hot Peppers Empty Hot Peppers

Post  newbeone 12/1/2017, 8:47 pm

Today I cut back my Serrano and Tabasco pepper plants as they were starting to lose some leaves due to the cool nights calling for 54* tonight. I didn't try to pull the roots don't think I could with out pulling something in my back now this will be the end of my second year gardening down here in Texas I had about five years doing the SFG up north but I've never seen pepper plants get so big the main stem is over one inch across and the plant was pushing 6', So anyway we have a mild winter down here I'm going to cut them down to about 6" and keep them watered see what happens come spring.
