Need Advice!
Hi All...
I have about 250 sf of Mel's Mix that I need to store, for about 2 years.
What is the best way to do it?
It has been in reused garden bags for the past year. Some of them have sun rot.
TIA

Hi, Ava. I finally get to meet you.
Quick thought. What about the 275 gallon plastic containers often for sale on Craig's List. Cut the tops off, fill and cover tightly against rain and wind with blue tarps? Just make sure they were used for clean liquids like corn syrup or cooking oil.

Re: Need Advice!
And if my calculations are correct then 250 SF (square feet) of MM at 6 inch depth is 125 cubic feet and that translates into 935 US Gallons.sanderson wrote:Hi, Ava. I finally get to meet you.

Re: Need Advice!
Are you planning to move in a year or two? I would make a 2"x4" pallet or use an existing pallet, reinforce the corners and center so you can install 5 wheels.
Re: Need Advice!
Something that might work, if you didn't have to go out and buy them, because they're not so cheap, is those really large garbage cans with wheels on them. If you could find some of those on Craig's list really cheap, that might be a way to go.
