I have harvested and cured all of the garlic.  Much better crop than before.  The potato onions were planted two different times. (Last Oct./Nov.)  I harvested them a couple of weeks ago and they were not that great.

I had many little ones left in the spring - so I planted 4 squares.  I just harvested them today - way better than the ones I harvested a couple of weeks ago.  I think it is possible that where I live it might be better to plant them in the early spring instead of the late autumn.

I've never had potato onions larger than a large marble. This year, once they died off a few weeks ago, I left them in the MM hoping they'll get bigger. They are still in there.

I have a lot of small one too.  Those will be planted to make the larger ones next spring.  I will keep a few larger ones so that they make some babies.  I hope this makes sense.

Since this year, I have decided not to plant any in the fall.

Somewhere on this forum I recall that someone mentioned planting the garlic in the same squares as were used this year.  Is that so?  I may have seen it before but don't remember where.  Will be planting in about 1 or 2 months.
